Local visitor industry employers advise the VIC of employment opportunities. VIC’s monthly jobs bulletin, The VIC Leader, announces open positions available in the visitor industry. VIC students and graduates, along with other stakeholders, receive this invaluable jobs bulletin. The VIC also provides career counseling and job placement assistance. Partnerships with local visitor industry employers, educational institutions and professional associations enable the VIC to help its students and graduates set and reach their career goals. The VIC holds career development workshops to assist students in the successful transition from academia to the workforce. VIC students and graduates receive instruction on interviewing, career planning and goal setting.
